The World Forum on Shooting Activities held its annual meeting in Nuremberg, Germany, on February 28th, 2024. The event was held in conjunction with IWA 2024, the International Trade Fair for Hunting and Sport Shooting.

Proceedings started with a luncheon at 12:00 noon, in room St. Petersburg and Foyer,  followed by a speech by the Keynote Speaker Ms. Sophia Radermacher (Germany) – Hunter and influencer, better known on social media as “Mrs_artemis”.

The main program followed, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in room Kyev (level 3) with the awarding of Mr. Luciano Rossi (Italy) – President of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), recipient of the 2024 Vito Genco Shooting Ambassador Award.

  1.  The 2024 Paris Olympic Games

  2. Restrictions to trade
    Speaker: Charles Fowler – FAIR Trade Group
  3. Legislative update on UN and EU issues
    Speakers: James Baranowski – WFSA Executive Secretary US, Mauro Silvis – WFSA Executive Secretary Europe
  4. Acceptance of hunting
    Speaker: Tristan Breijer – FACE

At the end of the panels, an open discussion/Q&A session with the audience took place, followed by the call-to-action speech by Ms. Julianne Versnel (WFSA Executive Member and Chair of the WFSA Image Committee).
